Izzy Johns is a forager, artist, community herbalist, and author of the Foraging and Land Stewardship course at the Experimental School of Urban Ecologies. Her foraging project, Rights For Weeds, was born out of an appreciation for the most overlooked wild plants and fungi in the city. Using a mix of foraging, storytelling, herbalism and the arts, Rights For Weeds aims to celebrate the lushness of the urban ecosystem, and to unite the people and plants that share it.
